Telenor ASA (TEL.OS), the Norwegian telecom operator, said
Thursday its Grameenphone subsidiary in Bangladesh reported lower
sales and operating profit in the third quarter.
MAIN FACTS:
-3Q revenue was NOK1.66B, down from NOK1.68B the same quarter
last year.
-3Q Ebitda was NOK857M, down from NOK972M.
-3Q capex was NOK2.35B, up from NOK333M.
-3Q capex excluding licence acquisition was NOK182M, down from
NOK333M.
-Grameenphone added 1.66M subscriptions in 3Q, taking
subscriptions to 40.95M.
