UOMO Media Inc. (OTCBB: UOMO), a multi-channel entertainment company, announced today an investment in GetTickets E Solutions Inc., an innovator in on-line and mobile ticketing. As part of the agreement, UOMO acquired an initial 15% stake in GetTickets, with the opportunity to acquire more, under certain performance mechanisms.

In 2008 GetTickets, in co-operation with Live Nation, launched one of the first "end to end" mobile ticketing solutions in North America. The system allows event search, purchase, delivery and redemption, all from a mobile handset. In 2009 they extended the mobile to on-line, as well, with the launch of http://tickets.urmusic.ca/ for Rogers Communications.

Founded in 2005, GetTickets sends paperless tickets to buyer's cell phones or handheld device that can be scanned at the entry of an event. The company handles sales for festivals, trade shows, conferences, charities, concerts and corporate events. GetTickets will deliver mobile tickets to hundreds of events in North America in 2009.
