VIENNA-IFM Global Infrastructure Fund intends to make an offer for a minority stake in Flughafen Wien AG (VIEV.VI), the operator of Vienna International airport, the latter said Monday.

The public voluntary offer will be for a non-controlling minority stake of between 20% and 29.9% of Flughafen Wien's shares, with an offer price per share of 80.00 euros ($101.02).

50% of Flughafen Wien's shares are free floating. The airport's current largest shareholders are the city of Vienna and the province of Lower Austria, each with a 20% stake. Another 10% is owned by an employee foundation.

IFM Global Infrastructure Fund mostly comprises institutional pension funds investing for workers in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Australia. It invests in a range of infrastructure assets including telecommunications, electricity and energy, water and waste, railway, and transportation.

At 0800 GMT, Flughafen Wien shares are trading 15.1% higher in Vienna at EUR71.00 apiece.
