LONDON--Vodafone Group PLC (VOD.LN) Tuesday said it has renewed its partner market agreement for France with SFR, a French telecommunications company, for a further four years to 2020.

The mobile communications company also said it has signed a strategic framework agreement with Altice, a France-based company which is a multinational cable and telecommunications provider, for the Dominican Republic.

The renewed SFR agreement was first signed in 2002 and will ensure the SFR's customers will continue to benefit from roaming services across Vodafone's operations in 26 countries and the 56 other countries where Vodafone partners with mobile networks, the company said.

In addition, customers of Altice's operations will now be able use roaming using Vodafone's network, and Vodafone's customers traveling to the Dominican Republic will enjoy full roaming services on Altice's network, based on the terms of the strategic framework agreement with Altice, the company added.

Shares at 1145 GMT down 0.15 pence, or 0.1%, at 216.80 pence valuing the company at 57.6 billion pounds ($83.4 billion).
