                           QUAESTOR EXPANDS CATI UNIT
                           AND APPOINTS ADELE GRITTEN

Quaestor, part of eq group plc, is expanding its CATI unit (computer assisted
telephone interviewing) capacity by 30% to meet increased demand from major
clients.

Bob Bond, Chief Executive of eq group, said: "Quaestor's CATI unit was
originally established in 1998 as a complementary service alongside its core
research activities. Clients liked the fact that their entire project, including
telephone interviewing, was handled under one roof and it has gone from strength
to strength. One third of the work carried out by the CATI unit is repeat
business and the Quaestor CATI team have established a strong reputation for
quality. On the back of this success we will begin promoting a CATI-only service
to blue-chip clients and other market research agencies during the first half of
2005."

Clients such as Scottish Power, Telewest and Marks and Spencer Money conduct
research through the unit on a regular basis.

Quaestor has also recently bolstered its qualitative research team with the
appointment of Adele Gritten, who joined as Associate Director in March. Adele
was previously with Clear Channel UK where she was Group Research Manager. She
has also worked at PHD and media agency CIA. Her career began as a researcher at
the BBC in Cardiff after graduating from Cambridge with a MA in social and
political science.

Commenting on her appointment Adele said: "Quaestor is a leading northern based
research and marketing specialist that understands how to get under the skin of
consumers and how to answer real business problems. The team is able to provide
clients with not only results, but clear strategic recommendations, and that is
something I will be proud to be part of."

Commenting for Quaestor, Anne-Marie McDermott, Managing Director, said: "We are
delighted to have one of the industries rising stars join our team."
