QUAESTOR TO RESEARCH KIDS FOR THE LAUNCH OF ITV'S NEW DIGITAL KIDS CHANNEL

ITV has commissioned Quaestor Research and Marketing Strategists, part of eq
group plc, to conduct an extensive programme of research ahead of the launch of
its new digital channel for kids.

The research will feed into programming, scheduling and branding and provide
strategic and tactical guidance for the way forward for the CiTV channel.
Quaestor will be using a variety of qualitative methods including, child and
parent interviews, parent focus groups, ethnographic TV viewing sessions with
children in home and diaries.

Abi Greenwood at ITV said: "It is important that the programmes we put out on
the new channel reinforce our position as a valued and trusted provider of
children's programming. This research will ensure we meet both children's and
parents' needs and expectations in this increasingly competitive market.
Quaestor has a strong track record of conducting research in the youth market
and producing accurate results."
