                                  VoIP services

Elitel Telecom SpA ("Elitel"), an independent Italian telecommunications group,
is pleased to announce the expansion of its product portfolio through an
agreement with DIGITALK Ltd to use the DIGITALK Multiservice Platform (MSP).

Elitel, a leading operator in Italy, offers a broad range of traditional phone,
data and Voice over IP (VoIP) services to the business and residential markets,
among which the provision of call services to the ethnic market in Italy. Elitel
has increased its presence in this market over the last two years, a market
which today is estimated to be worth approximately Euro1.4bn .

Building on this success, Elitel has decided to expand further this area of
business and will be using the DIGITALK MSP platform to provide additional
pre-paid services, as well as expanding its range of standard and enhanced voice
services to both its residential and business customers. In particular, Elitel
will integrate the DIGITALK MSP with its existing VoIP platform, that today is
already able to provide broadband telephony services on both Elitel's ADSL as
well as other carriers' connectivity.

Giampietro Catena, Director of Wholesale and Regulatory Services for Elitel
commented:

"We chose DIGITALK because it is a known and trusted solution, and an ideal fit
for our service expansion plan. The DIGITALK solution is both robust and highly
scalable; in addition, the subscriber self-care facilities are very appealing to
our customers. We are now pushing forward with our growth plans for VoIP
services and DIGITALK is pivotal to this effort."

Mark Ashdown, Sales and Marketing Director for DIGITALK, added:

"DIGITALK has been expanding rapidly in Southern Europe, Italy in particular.
The fact that Elitel has chosen a DIGITALK solution shows that it is an ideal
solution for growing service providers who are moving from traditional TDM (Time
Division Multiplexing) services into VoIP".
