Brazilian credit-card networking services provider Redecard SA (RDCD3.BR) announced Thursday that it will pay a total of 464 million Brazilian reals ($206 million) in dividends.

The company said that the total amount represents a dividend of BRL0.69 per share.

"The dividends will be paid on April 1, based in shareholders position as of March 18," said the company.

Currently, Redecard is jointly controlled by Brazilian banking giant Itau-Unibanco and U.S.-based Citigroup Inc. (C).

Earlier this month, Citigroup announced its intention to sell a larger part of its stake in Redecard through a secondary offer on the Brazilian Stock Exchange, or Bovespa.
