Brazilian brewer Companhia de Bebidas das Americas (ABV), or AmBev, said late Monday that it acquired Bolivia based company Bebidas y Aguas Gaseosas Occidente S.R.L., for approximately $27 million.

"Ambev acquired from SABMiller (SBMRY) 100% of the capital stock of Bebidas y Aguas Gaseosas Occidente, which is the exclusive Pepsi bottler in Bolivia," said Ambev.

AmBev is part of Belgian brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI.BT).
