Nippon Yusen KK (9101.TO) said Friday that subsidiary Nippon Cargo Airlines agreed to pay a Y4.5 billion fine after reaching a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice in a cargo service cartel case.

Nippon Yusen said there would be no further impact from the fine as it had already booked potential losses stemming from the case.
