Reed Elsevier PLC and NV said Thursday they have successfully completed the share placings at 405 pence per PLC share and EUR7.08 per NV share.

MAIN FACTS:

-Following accelerated bookbuilding processes, a total of 109,198,190 new ordinary PLC shares and 63,030,989 new ordinary NV shares have been placed.

- Total gross proceeds were GBP824 million.
