UBC Media announces two new contracts

UBC Media is pleased today to announce two new contracts which demonstrate the
company's leading position in the fields of independent radio production and
digital radio technology.

G-One, UBC's division specialising in the production of dance music and youth
programming, has signed a three year deal with Norman Cook, also known as Fat
Boy Slim, to produce a programme for the US radio market. The one-hour weekly
strand, Fatboy Slim's Brighton Beach Mix, will be launched next month at the
Winter Music Conference in Miami with the first broadcast scheduled for the
Spring. The show is expected to air on major U.S. music stations WKTU in New
York, WPYO in Orlando and WPYM in Miami. The deal was negotiated with US
syndication company Super Radio, which teamed up one year ago with G-One to
distribute Paul Oakenfold Presents... This two-hour weekly mix has exceeded
expectations and is syndicated across America in nineteen major markets.

In addition, UBC Media's Unique Interactive division has signed an agreement
with EMAP radio for the use of Unique Interactive's pioneering digital radio
text technology across its portfolio of radio stations. The proprietary ManDLS
(Dynamic Label Segment) text manager service allows digital broadcasters to take
advantage of the capacity of DAB Digital Radio to receive constantly-updated
text data as well as audio. EMAP's Kiss, Smash Hits, Magic and Big City network
stations, including The Hits in London, will be able to transmit 128 characters
of on-screen scrolling text to DAB Digital Radio receivers nationwide. This
could include information about individual artists and tracks, radio station
idents, news headlines and competition telephone numbers. DLS can also be used
to display revenue-generating content such as advertising and promotional
messages. This deal underlines Unique Interactive's position as the market
leader in the provision of DLS text services for DAB Digital Radio. To date,
more than a third of broadcasters transmitting digital text use Unique
Interactive's ManDLS software.

UBC Media's Chief Executive, Simon Cole, said:

"These deals demonstrate that UBC Media's strategy of combining radio production
revenues with investment in new digital radio technologies is bearing fruit. Our
production division continues to make ground-breaking syndication deals, and now
has a significant foothold in the US market. At the same time, we have
established a very strong strategic position in digital radio. We own
market-leading technologies, and a have a suite of broadcasting and data
broadcasting assets which leave us well placed to exploit the medium. Today's
agreement with EMAP reinforces our strong position in this market as digital
radio sales continue to grow strongly."
