Market Age PLC
13 March 2003

The Market Age Plc has today convened a meeting of the holders of its
subordinated unsecured loan notes ('Loan Notes') for 28 March 2003 to consider
proposals (a) to waive the interest payment due on 28 March 2003 and (b) to
cancel the current Loan Notes in exchange for shares in a group subsidiary,
Pronet Analytics.com Limited ('Pronet'). Subject, inter alia, to the Loan
Noteholders agreeing to such an exchange, Pronet would be sold pursuant to the
proposal described below.

Loan Noteholders have been informed that despite efforts to increase sales and
to promote the business, the group has had to take some difficult decisions
regarding costs in order to remain in business. Loan Noteholders have been
informed that unless agreement is received from certain creditors to waive
payments due, including the interest payments due to the Loan Noteholders, the
Directors would have no choice but to conclude that the Company would be unable
to continue to trade.

The Board has received an approach from a third party with an outline proposal
to restructure the group, including the sale of the group's principal operating
subsidiary, Pronet, to its management. This proposal, which is likely to value
the group at less than its current market capitalisation, is being considered by
the Board and shareholders will be kept informed.
