LONDON--New Britain Palm Oil Ltd. (NBPO.LN) said Tuesday that Sime Darby Berhad (4197.KU) has aborted the deal to buy a large stake in the company from Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad (2003.KU).

Kulim has 48.97% stake in New Britain Palm. The share holder is now considering another party for the sale of its stake.

Shares of New Britain trading 9% lower at 385 pence.
