EcoSecurities Group PLC announces that it has received the following information
from Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Limited about its interest in Ordinary
shares of EcoSecurities Group PLC:



Pursuant to Section 67-89 of the Irish Companies Act we write to inform you that
as at the close of its business on 11th September 2006, Merrill Lynch Investment
Mangers Limited and any of the affiliates in the Merrill Lynch Investment
Managers Group Limited no longer have a notifiable interest in the relevant
share capital of the Company.



As of this date, acting through the legal entities detailed below, Merrill Lynch
Investment Managers Limited had an interest of 4,551,800 Ordinary shares in
EcoSecurities Group PLC, representing a total of 4.92% per cent of the issued
share capital of the Company (92,424,332).
