    SPG MEDIA GROUP plc

    At today's AGM Stephen Davidson, Chairman, made the following statement:

    "Our financial year has begun well and we are in line with management expectations. Our order intake is up year on year by 21% for the
21 weeks to 24 August 2008. Although this has fallen from the 30% we reported for the first 11 weeks we are still producing positive order
intake. As usual we are weighted to the second six months for both revenue and bottom line recognition. The economic environment continues
to be challenging but with the continued investment in our people and products we are placed to continue our strategy of increasing
revenue."
