("Symphony", the "Company" or the "Group")
Director/PDMR Shareholdings - Options amendments
Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM: SYM), global
specialists in products and technologies that "make plastic and
rubber products smarter, safer and more sustainable", announces an
extension to the exercise period of options held by the directors
of the Company (the "Directors") and certain other option
holders.
The Company had previously granted options to purchase
10,191,500 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (the
"Options") of which 8,441,500 were to certain directors of the
Company. The exercise prices of the Options are 4.5 pence and 12.5
pence, so all the Options are below the prevailing price of the
Company's ordinary shares. The Options were due to expire on 31
December 2023 but have been extended for practical reasons to 31
December 2024 ("Option Extension"). The Options represent 5.5% of
the total issued share capital of the Company.
The extension of the Options granted to Directors is considered
a related party transaction pursuant to the AIM rules for
companies. Accordingly, the Directors except for the relevant
director and the options awarded to him, consider, having consulted
with the Company's nominated adviser, that the Option Extension is
fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are
concerned.
