On June 14, 2024, First Bancorp (the "Company") issued a news release to announce a cash dividend.

The Company reported that its board of directors had declared a cash dividend of $0.22 per share on its common stock payable on July 25, 2024 to shareholders of record as of June 30, 2024.

First Bancorp Announces Cash Dividend


Southern Pines, NC, June 14, 2024 - The Board of Directors of First Bancorp (NASDAQ: FBNC) (the “Company”), the parent company of First Bank, has declared a cash dividend on its common stock of $0.22 per share payable on July 25, 2024 to shareholders of record as of June 30, 2024.

Richard Moore, Chief Executive Officer of First Bancorp, stated, “Your company continued to perform well during the first quarter of 2024 with increases in our liquidity and capital along with strong credit quality. We are pleased that our financial performance and capital position allow us to continue distributing the level of cash dividend providing our shareholders with a valuable return on their investments.”
