(NASDAQ:PLUG), a leader in the development of proton exchange membrane fuel cell systems, announced today that the Company's GenSys(TM)5C fuel cell system has been certified by the California Air Resources Board as meeting the 2007 distributed generation emission standards requirement. "This certification validates the GenSys(TM)5C fuel cell system at the most stringent of the Board's certification levels, attesting to the system's low emission characteristics.
