AGCO VP Named for BDN’s Executive Leadership Honor Roll

AGCO, Your Agriculture Company (NYSE: AGCO), a worldwide
manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced
today that the Board of Directors Network (BDN) has named Debra E.
Kuper, AGCO Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate
Secretary, as a 2011 inductee to the Executive Leadership Honor
Roll. Ms. Kuper will be honored tonight at a BDN dinner event for
her leadership role within AGCO. “We are very pleased and proud
that the leadership achievements and commitment of Ms. Kuper are
recognized and honored,” said Martin Richenhagen, Chairman,
President and Chief Executive Officer of AGCO.
The BDN defines an honor roll honoree “as a Georgia based woman
in a significant leadership role within her organization. She is a
role model of career achievement and is building the credentials
that place her in the pipeline for corporate board membership.”
BDN’s mission is to increase the number of women in executive
leadership. Each year the organization honors three exceptional
Georgia based women who are role models within their corporation,
organization or governmental service. They have to be highly
professional, lead on an executive level and mentor other women to
rise to their potential.
Debra Kuper was appointed Vice President, General Counsel and
Corporate Secretary in May 2008. She is responsible for all of the
Company’s legal matters, including litigation, regulatory and
securities filings, executive compensation, mergers and
acquisitions and corporate records. She supervises all of the
Company’s 25 in-house attorneys, of whom 15 are women. She was the
first female executive on AGCO’s senior management team and the
first female in the boardroom in her role as the Corporate
Secretary. She is the co-executive sponsor of the newly formed AGCO
Global Women’s Network, a business advisory group committed to
developing, promoting, and advocating leadership of women within
AGCO.
Kuper joined AGCO from Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois. She
received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and a J.D. from
Marquette University, where she also taught as an adjunct
professor. She is a member of the Diversity Council, the National
Association of Women Lawyers, and the National Association of
Professional Women.
