CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that it was awarded a $45 million task order in the first quarter of its fiscal year 2014, which ended September 30, 2013, to provide design, transition, and operations (DTO) services to the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) Program Management Office (PMO). This task order was won under the DISA Encore II vehicle and is for one base year and four option years. The new work expands CACI’s business with DISA and further advances the company’s growth in its Enterprise IT market area and its presence in the international arena.

The MNIS programs provide the infrastructure backbone, centralized network management, common services and core applications, for both MNIS classified and unclassified networks. These support and host the Department of Defense (DoD) Combatant Command (COCOM), U.S. coalition and Mission Partner communities of interest, and related activities.

CACI will provide network engineering and a wide array of other support services to MNIS PMO’s classified networks, as well as providing support to transition all MNIS PMO networks and operations to a DISA Enterprise Service Management Framework. CACI will integrate these efforts to ensure all information technology service management tasks are seamlessly incorporated into MNIS PMO day-to-day activities.

CACI’s unique qualifications for this work include its proven team of small and large businesses, highly qualified personnel, and its specialized, tailorable, IT service delivery framework. CACI will use this framework to leverage the existing organizational practices and procedures and augment them with the company’s ISO® 20000-certified processes and procedures and several additional industry leading practices. This low-risk approach ensures streamlined, efficient MNIS IT service delivery and end-to-end mission improvement as it helps unify all MNIS program elements and contractors.

John Mengucci, CACI’s Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, “This new business with the Multinational Information Sharing Program Management Office further expands our worldwide support to DISA. Our disciplined approach to IT Service Management will help DISA provide the information sharing environments necessary for combatant commanders to rapidly and effectively consume and share information with coalition and mission partners.”

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “CACI continues to leverage our proven solutions and services to win business under the Encore II contract vehicle. Our latest award, in support of the DISA Multinational Information Sharing Program Management Office, is a further demonstration of the success of our ongoing strategy of broadening our portfolio and gaining market share in our high-volume, Enterprise IT market.”
