Recognition is for Sustained Commitment to U.S. Marines and Their Families

CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board, has received the Semper Fidelis Award from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children. The award is presented annually to individuals whose service to our nation exemplifies the Marine Corps motto to remain “Always Faithful” and who demonstrate a sustained commitment to Marines and their families.

Dr. London accepted the award as a guest of honor on May 2 at the 52nd Annual New York Leatherneck Celebratory Ball in New York City. He was joined by Leatherneck Award honoree Dr. Paul G. Kaminski, former Under Secretary of Defense; and military guest of honor General John F. Kelly, Commander, United States Southern Command.

A 40-year veteran of CACI, Dr. London led the company as President and CEO until 2007, when he was named Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board. He is a 24-year U.S. Navy active duty and reserve officer who has served on the Boards of Directors of the U.S. Naval Institute, U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation, Naval Historical Foundation, Friends of the National WWII Memorial, and CAUSE (Comfort for America’s Uniformed Services), the wounded warriors support organization. His numerous honors include the Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz Award from the Navy League of the United States, the John W. Dixon Award from the Association of the United States Army, the Nathan Hale Award from the Reserve Officers Association, and the Admiral of the Navy George Dewey Award from the Naval Order of the United States. Dr. London is also a 2010 inductee into the Washington Business Hall of Fame and a 2012 inductee into the Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Hall of Fame.

Commenting on the Semper Fidelis Award, Dr. London said, “I am honored to receive this award from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, an organization that makes a great contribution to our nation’s Marines and their families. CACI, too, has a longstanding tradition of support for our nation’s military, and it is a privilege to be able to represent the CACI team through this recognition.” A veteran himself, Dr. London established and continues to champion CACI’s culture of ethics and good character, which reflects the company’s dedication to its customers and the country. Among its many veterans hiring honors, CACI was recently ranked third in the nation on the 2014 “Best for Vets” employers list by Military Times magazine.

Dr. Warren Phillips, Lead Director of CACI’s board, noted, “On behalf of the CACI Board of Directors, we congratulate Dr. London on receiving the Semper Fidelis Award from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. At CACI, we take great pride in serving our country as well as giving back to those who have served. We are proud to support our nation’s military men and women through our participation in philanthropic activities, strong veterans recruitment programs, and solutions and services to help our customers safeguard the nation.”
