VGI Virtus Global Multi Sector Income Fund

HARTFORD, Conn., June 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtus Global Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE: VGI), and Virtus Total Return Fund Inc. (NYSE: ZTR) announced that the option overlay strategy employed on each fund has been removed from the investment strategy of each fund.

The funds' management suspended the option overlay strategy earlier this year during the extreme market volatility. As a result of this change, Rampart Investment Management will no longer be a subadviser to the funds.
