--EssilorLuxottica SA's chairman, Leonardo Del Vecchio, and vice chairman Hubert Sagnieres are trying to bring their long-running feud to an end ahead of the company's annual shareholders meeting next week, the FT reports, citing anonymous sources.

--The two executives are trying to reach a deal under which Essilor CEO Laurent Vacherot and Luxottica CEO Francesco Milleri--an ally of Mr. Del Vecchio--would hold more power, the FT says.

--Shares in EssilorLuxottica rise 4.2% to EUR110.45.
