--Abertis Chief Executive Francisco Reynes will leave his current role and replace Isidre Faine as chairman of Gas Natural, reports Expansion, citing sources.

--The appointment of Mr. Reynes will presumably be decided Tuesday, when both Abertis and Gas Natural are expected to hold board meetings, and could be put into effect during Gas Natural's next annual general meeting in about April, reports Expansion.

--Mr. Faine is also chairman of Criteria Caixa, the holding company of Caixabank, which owns 22% of Abertis and 24% of Gas Natural, according to the companies.
