Daimler AG (DAI.XE) said Wednesday that it received an order for 228 Mercedes-Benz trucks from Brazilian beer and beverage business Ambev SA (ABEV).

The brewer, which is owned by Belgium's Anheuser-Busch InBev SA (ABI.BT), ordered 212 Atego trucks and 16 Actros trucks to supply beer and other beverages to customers, the German car maker said.

It didn't disclose any financial details of the order.
