Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) today announced that Juliann Larimer, vice president of Global Channels, has been recognized as a 2012 “Power 100 Woman of the Channel” by CRN Magazine.

An elite subset of CRN’s annual “Women of the Channel” list, the “Power 100” designation is awarded to the highest ranking women holding the most prominent channel-focused positions in a vendor or solution provider organization. These women have made a name for themselves as influential leaders within their own company and the IT channel as a whole.

This year’s “Power 100 Women of the Channel” were selected by the editors of CRN from a field of applications and nominations from vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

“Now in its ninth annual publication, CRN’s special ‘Women of the Channel’ issue is one of our most popular of the year,” said Kelley Damore, vice president, editorial director, UBM Channel. The ‘Power 100’ designation is a special achievement award given to an elite subset of our ‘Women of the Channel’ list. It’s given to a small group of female executives based on their accomplishments over the past year and their dedication to driving the overall success of the IT channel. We want to honor and congratulate these women for their contributions to the industry and their respective organizations.”

Juliann Larimer is responsible for leading Motorola’s worldwide channels organization and the development of the global framework for PartnerEmpower, the award-winning channel program that helps partners differentiate themselves in the market and rewards them for the investments they make in developing expertise and meeting customer needs. Larimer and her team have been leading the transformation of the tools that partners use to do business with Motorola. Key investments in the last year have included improved deal registration tools, an upgraded partner portal and better self-service tools for partners.

“It is an honor to be recognized by CRN for doing what I love,” said Juliann Larimer. “This recognition is really a reflection of Motorola Solutions’ commitment to the channel and the outstanding channel partners and colleagues that I have the pleasure to work with every day.”

The “Power 100 Women of the Channel” will be listed on CRN.com. The overall “Women of the Channel” list will appear in the July 2012 issue of CRN Magazine.
