MSI Motorola Solutions Inc

Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) is offering buyouts to "hundreds" of managers and senior-level workers at its headquarters in Schaumburg, Ill., Crain's Chicago Business reported.

Buyout offers could be extended to up to 20% of the company's North American workforce, the report said.

A Motorola Solutions spokesman noted that the company is still hiring in many areas.

Reuters reported that the company is in early-stage discussions about selling its wireless local area network business.
