Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with the Village of Palmetto Bay, Florida, for Tyler�s financial management solution. In addition to software licenses, the agreement includes corresponding professional services, maintenance and support.

Palmetto Bay has chosen to invest in applications from Tyler�s EDEN financial management solution. It will implement core financial applications, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable�both with Web extensions�and Cashiering. Additionally, the Village will use citizen services applications, including Parcel Manger, Permits & Inspections with Web extensions and Licensing with Web extensions. Palmetto Bay will deploy its Tyler applications with the dashboard option, a Web-based tool that enables users to launch their Tyler system programs and other applications from a single work area.

�Palmetto Bay will gain the benefits of a fully integrated system by implementing Tyler�s financial management solution. Our solution will give the Village access to real-time data, process financial transactions for all departments and facilitate the sharing of data,� commented Jeff Green, president of Tyler�s EDEN Financial Management Solutions.

�Palmetto Bay�s goal is to gain huge efficiencies by moving to a true governmental software for its Finance department. Efficiency and accountability also will be improved in other departments, as we replace manual spreadsheets or software we have outgrown. Additionally, the sharing of vendor and customer information will help boost the quality of service the Village provides to its customers,� stated Desmond Chin, finance director for Palmetto Bay.
