Tyler Technologies to Provide Appraisal & Tax Software and Services to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania

Tyler Technologies (NYSE: TYL) has reached an agreement with
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to provide residential, commercial
and industrial real property appraisal services and upgrade the
county’s installed version of Tyler’s iasWorld property assessment
and taxation software solution. The contract, valued at $8.2
million, includes software licenses, support, maintenance, sales
validation, and property valuation.
Allegheny County, with an estimated 570,000 properties, is an
existing Tyler iasWorld client. Tyler is upgrading the current
system to the latest release, which includes new tools and
integration to make the reassessment process and day-to-day
operations more efficient. Upgrades include integration with GIS
and enhanced workflow field operations with the use of hand-held
computer devices that are directly linked to the county’s
database.
