City to update technology, streamline workflow with Munis and EnerGov solutions

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with the city of Pinellas Park, Florida, to replace its current systems with Tyler’s Munis® and EnerGov™ software solutions. The agreement includes software licenses, implementation, professional services, and support.

The city of Pinellas Park sought to replace legacy in-house applications with modern solutions for financial management, human resources management, land management and infrastructure management. Pinellas Park officials specifically wanted integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions that would be flexible enough to grow with the city and its future needs.

After a comprehensive review, the city selected multiple applications within Tyler’s Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and the EnerGov planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. With Tyler’s solutions, Pinellas Park can streamline business processes while enhancing customer service, including self-service portals for residents.

With more than 175 public sector clients in Florida, Tyler has a strong track record of success and industry experts who possess knowledge of the jurisdictional nuances unique to municipalities within the state. The city will also benefit from Tyler’s evergreen perpetual licensing approach that provides regular and significant, yet manageable, software enhancements without an additional relicensing or service fee, ensuring the city has continued access to evolving technology.

Pinellas Park is a progressive and growing city about 15 miles west of Tampa. In addition to serving its 49,000 residents, Pinellas Park provides neighboring communities and unincorporated areas with support such as fire services, permitting and inspections, water service, and utility billing.
