LONDON--WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Monday its operating company AKQA a digital services agency, has acquired a majority stake in the holding company of digital agency Potato for an undisclosed sum.

For the year ended March 31, Potato, which specializes in designing secure and scalable web applications recorded revenue of 6.9 million pounds ($9.8 million), with gross assets of GBP4.1 million.
