RMR plc ("the Company")


The Company was notified on 7 December 2001 that David Jones, a significant
shareholder, sold 1 million shares on 23 November 2001 and 1 million shares on
3 December 2001. This reduces Mr Jones' holding to 1,520,631 ordinary shares
in the Company representing 2.49 per cent of the issued share capital of RMR
plc.
