US BioEnergy Celebrates Groundbreaking of Janesville, Minnesota Ethanol Plant

US BioEnergy Corporation (NASDAQ:USBE), a leading ethanol producer
in the United States will hold a Groundbreaking Ceremony today
beginning at 11:00 a.m. for its 100 million gallon per year ethanol
facility in Janesville, Minnesota. Community members and several
dignitaries are expected to attend, including US BioEnergy CEO
Gordon Ommen, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Fagen Inc. CEO Ron
Fagen, Janesville Mayor Alvin Grams and Roger Moore, Vice President
of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. �The start of
construction on our Janesville plant marks another important
milestone in the growth of US BioEnergy. Our team continues to
execute our business plan with great success, keeping the company
on track to reach its stated goal of 700 million gallons of
production by the end of 2008,� stated Gordon Ommen, US BioEnergy�s
CEO. �This plant, which will be our first in Minnesota, also
further contributes to the geographic diversity of our facilities.

BioEnergy Janesville is expected to have the capacity to produce
approximately 100 million gallons of ethanol and 320,000 tons of
distillers grains per year and expects to employ more than 40
