Geologix Explorations Inc. (the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:GIX)(FRANKFURT:GF6)(BERLIN:GF6)(STUTTGART:GF6)(MUNICH:GF6) is pleased to
advise that following the successful completion of the 15,000 metre drill
commitment within the resource area to Silver Standard Resources (TSX:SSO), the
Company has commenced an aggressive exploration drill program on its property
holdings (1,078 hectares) at the San Agustin Project, Durango State, Mexico. The
program is aimed at testing significant exploration targets outside of the

Exploration Program

Exploration programs conducted by the Company on the San Agustin, Consejo and El
Carmen properties consisted of compilation of historic work, geological mapping
and sampling, trenching (5,360 metres), soil geochemical sampling (3712 samples)
and geophysical programs (30.7 line kilometres). Results of these various
surveys have highlighted numerous target areas that suggest significant
potential to discover areas of mineralization analogous to the mineralization as
is being currently outlined in the San Agustin resource areas. Target areas show
signatures that are comparable to those seen over known mineralization (Main
Zone, Zone 2 and Zone 4) at San Agustin.


A reverse circulation (RC) drill rig has arrived at site and has commenced drill
testing of these exploration targets. A minimum of 3,000 metres are scheduled to
be completed in the first phase of the exploration drilling. This exploration
drilling is above and beyond the meterage planned and budgeted for Phase III
resource definition drilling.


To date the Company has completed 34,560 metres of drilling on the property of
which 17,930 metres are part of the on-going Phase III resource definition and
expansion program. The Company anticipates completion of a second resource
estimate in early October, 2008.


Dunham L. Craig, President and CEO, stated: "Even though we are still having
great success at San Agustin in expanding our resource along strike, width and
depth with continued resource definition drilling, the quality and strength of
the property wide exploration data and associated anomalies warrant the shifting
of some drilling focus in order to prove up the top tier mineral district the
Company believes exists on the property."

purposes of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral
Properties of the Canadian Securities Administrators, has verified the data
