Bourne End has been informed that the interests of Dawnay, Day International
Limited and its directors (including Peter Klimt who is also a director of
Bourne End) have increased from 5,610,713 Ordinary Shares to 6,110,713
Ordinary Shares representing 8.81% of the issued share capital of Bourne End. 
The interests disclosed above include the increase of 200,000 Ordinary Shares
in the interests of Peter Klimt announced to the Stock Exchange on 4 November
1999 in his capacity as a director of Bourne End.
