Cardpoint, the provider of electronic payment transactions and the market leader
in the independent cash machine sector, announces that Paul Saxton, Chief
Operating Officer, has decided to leave Cardpoint and has resigned from the
board of directors of the Company with effect from 31 December 2007.  Mr Saxton
is leaving due to the upcoming merger between Cardpoint and alphyra Holdings
Limited ("alphyra") which is expected to complete on 5 December 2007.



Bob Thian, Chairman of Cardpoint, said:



"I would like to thank Paul for his valuable contribution since joining
Cardpoint last December, and for his committing to remain in his current post
until the end of this year to ensure a smooth transition during the merger of
Cardpoint with alphyra to create Payzone plc.  Payzone will be a leading
European consumer payments acceptance and cash distribution group."
