                     CORRECTION - MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES


On 15 April 2008, Virotec International plc (the "Company") (AIM: VTI) received
notification from Mr. D.V. Penman, c/o Barnsdale Hall, Nr Stamford Road, Oakham,
Rutland, LE15 8AB, that as a result of a purchase of 750,000 shares on 8 April
2008 and a further 1,125,000 on 9 April 2008, the total number of shares which
Mr Penman controls is 12,555,000 shares or 4.75% of the Company's issued
capital.
