CA Technologies Extends Earth Day 2012 with “Green Weeks”

CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that it has
expanded its annual Earth Day celebration to two weeks of “green
activities,” from April 16 through April 30. The company also
reported that the number of events it sponsored this year has
doubled over last year, with CA Technologies employees volunteering
in over 40 community-related environmental activities.

“Since we launched our Earth Day celebration in 2008, the
program continues to expand -- thanks to our employees who have
volunteered their time to help many worthwhile projects and
organizations around the globe,” said Bill Hughes, chief
communications officer, CA Technologies. “Sustainability and
volunteerism are key components of our corporate culture and it is
truly inspiring to see our employees embrace this effort to benefit
their local communities.”
Throughout “Green Weeks” CA Technologies employees will take
time out of their work day to support local organizations with
activities like planting trees, cleaning parks and more.
CA Technologies employees will participate in Earth Day
activities across the U.S., and in Australia, Belgium, Canada,
Columbia, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain and the UK.
“We’re a not-for-profit educational farm with a small staff, and
we rely heavily on volunteers to help us care for the farm,” said
Trish Umbrell, Farm Administrator, Natick Community Organic Farm,
Massachusetts. “We enjoy working with people from companies like CA

community and are enthusiastic about helping out. Their energy is
infectious, and with their support we accomplish a lot.”
