 Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS), the global leader in Protective Communications, today announced an order from the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas for Genasys ACOUSTICS (ACOUSTICS) systems to enhance public safety and protect tribal members, visitors, and tourists on its reservation. The Deep East Texas Council of Governments is currently using Genasys Protect as its multi-agency mass notification solution, serving as a unified system for 11 counties and many municipalities in the same region where the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas is located.

Richard Danforth, Chief Executive Officer of Genasys, said, “ACOUSTICS installations integrated with Genasys ALERT will provide high-fidelity outdoor emergency voice warnings and notifications throughout the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas reservation. Located on several thousand wooded acres, this area in East Texas is prone to wildfires, severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, flooding, and hurricanes. The ACOUSTICS installations will feature satellite connectivity, solar power, and battery backup.”

Mr. Danforth added, “Since launching Genasys Protect last year in August, we have expanded our coverage area in 39 states, and secured significant orders from the State of New Hampshire, the Counties of Los Angeles and San Diego, and the City of Boston. With the Puerto Rico dams project underway and the expected addition of further material orders, our Genasys Protect software and hardware business outlook remains strong.”
