MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunrise
Senior Living, LLC, one of the largest providers of senior living,
today announced the launch of its Suite Style Contest, which
will give its residents the chance to win a redesign of his/her
suite in a Sunrise community by HGTV "Design Star" Emily
Henderson.
"Sunrise embraces all the comforts of home, and our communities
are designed to provide a warm and supportive environment for all
of our residents to enjoy," said Laura
McDuffie, chief operating officer for Sunrise. "We are
pleased to partner once again with Emily
Henderson, who is celebrated for her ability to create
comfortable and personal spaces, to makeover one lucky resident's
suite."
Emily Henderson added, "I am
excited to continue my partnership with Sunrise, and in particular,
work closely with the winning resident and their family to help
their personality shine throughout their suite. Sunrise's
communities feature big windows and open layouts, making them the
perfect blank canvas for each resident to truly make their new home
their own."
Current assisted living and independent living residents, who
have lived at a Sunrise community for at least three months, may
enter – or have a family member or friend nominate them – to win a
free design consultation with Emily
Henderson, as well as an all-expense paid redesign of
his/her Sunrise suite. Winners will be chosen based on the
creativity and originality of the entry, as well as the compelling
nature of what the Sunrise suite and senior living community means
to them or the resident being nominated.
More information on the contest, including the nomination form
and official contest rules, may be found at SunriseSuiteStyle.com.
Submissions are due by March 1,
2013. The winner will be notified no later than March 21, 2013.
