CANTON, Ohio, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Timken
Company (NYSE: TKR) today announced it will increase base prices on
hot-rolled special bar quality (SBQ) products by $30 per ton and cold-finished and thermal-treated
SBQ products by $40 per ton. These price increases are
effective with shipments beginning on May 1,
2010.
Raw material surcharges will remain in effect.
