Lagardere Appoints Committee for Vivendi's Proposed Takeover Bid

Lagardere SA said Friday that it has appointed an ad hoc
committee for Vivendi SE's proposed takeover bid.
The French media company said the committee will be responsible
for monitoring the process and preparing a draft opinion for the
board of directors on the proposed offer.
It added that Joseph Oughourlian, head of Amber Capital, has
resigned as director following Vivendi's acquisition of the
activist investor's stake in Lagardere.
