CRYSTAL AMBER FUND LIMITED
("Crystal Amber Fund" or the "Fund")
Update on shareholder returns
Net asset performance has remained positive: over the last three
months, net asset value per share has risen by 3.4 per cent and
over the last year by 4.7 per cent. Over the same periods, the UK
mid cap index has fallen by 27.1 per cent and by 42.5 per cent.
To date in 2022, the Fund has returned 20p a share in dividends
to shareholders (representing a gross return of GBP16.7
million),
The Fund expects to provide an update shortly on additional
shareholder returns based on the Investment Manager's and the
Board's assessment of the status and timing of anticipated
corporate transactions.
The Fund notes that Hurricane Energy plc ("Hurricane") has
reported that at 31 July 2022, it held net cash of $89 million. At
current exchange rates, this is equivalent to GBP82 million.
Crystal Amber holds 28.9 per cent of Hurricane's issued share
capital.
