Total Voting Rights

Alterian today announces that in accordance with DTR 5.6 and as at the date of this announcement, Alterian has a total issued share capital of 62,197,769 ordinary shares of 25 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") with voting rights. No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in Alterian is 62,197,769.

The above figure of 62,197,769 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Alterian under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
