CLS Holdings plc (the `Company')                        

                           Transaction in Own Shares                           

The Company announces that, pursuant to its general authority by shareholders
of the Company on 22 May 2007 to make market purchases of its own shares, the
Company acquired 100,000 Ordinary shares on 7 June 2007 at an average price of
665.8 pence per Ordinary share, with the highest price of 685 pence and the
lowest price of 640 pence. The purchased shares will be held as treasury
shares.

Following the above purchase the Company now holds 7,588,649 Ordinary shares as
treasury shares and the total number of Ordinary shares in issue excluding
shares held as treasury shares is 70,722,622. Therefore the total number of
voting rights in CLS Holdings plc is 70,722,622.
