                 Channel Distribution and Placing of New Shares



Eicom plc (AIM:EIC) announces today that it has reached agreement to have
Performance Channel and Performance MainStreet streamed on to PlayUK TV's new
IPTV service at a rate of 5p per subscriber per month.  PlayUK TV reported
100,000 subscribers to its platform at the end of 2007.

The Company announces further that content from its SciTech TV channel has been
licensed by the IPTV platform, Babelgum, on terms which grant the Company an
initial fee of Euro28,000 followed by a 50% revenue share.

The Company can also confirm that it has been granted a license by Ofcom to
broadcast an entertainment based digital TV channel - Strictly Performance - and
Eicom's directors are exploring routes to market for this channel concept.

In order to make sure that funds are available for these and other planned
activities, Eicom announces that it has undertaken placings of new Ordinary
Shares and has issued 5,535,072 Ordinary Shares of 0.5p each at an average price
of 2.08p per share to raise �114,975.

In addition the company has issued 77,777 new Ordinary Shares at a price of
5.25p per share in full payment of an invoice that was contracted to be paid in
shares.

Application has been made today for these Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM,
and trading is expected to commence on 15 February 2008.

This brings the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights to 38,227,077
which may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
