Exova Metech agrees outsourcing deal with Germany's
Sartorius-Werkzeuge
Exova Metech, the specialist calibration and metrology division
of Exova Group plc (EXO.L), has agreed an outsourcing deal with
Sartorius-Werkzeuge, a leading provider of precision tool support
services, to become its preferred supplier of calibration
services.
Exova Metech will now take over Sartorius-Werkzeuge's in-house
calibration operation in Ratingen, Düsseldorf and will undertake
the transfer of technology assets and six skilled personnel as part
of the long term agreement.
With four existing calibration laboratories in Germany, the move
will broaden Exova Metech's capabilities and support access to new
customers and markets across the country. It will also strengthen
the company's position as the leading third-party calibration
provider in the Rhein-Ruhr region.
Hans Åberg, managing director of Exova Metech, said: "Our deal

Sartorius-Werkzeuge, part of the global Würth Group, was formed
in 1879 and employs over 180 personnel. It is headquartered in
Ratingen, Germany and supports customers in the machining tool and
machining industries.
