Announcement of Interim Dividend

Hansa Trust PLC announces its second interim distribution for the Company's financial year ended 31 March 2015.

An interim dividend of 8.0p per share (amounting to GBP1,920,000) is to be paid.

   Ex-dividend date:          7 May 2015 
   Record date:                 8 May 2015 
   Payment date:               29 May 2015

The first interim dividend for the year ended 31 March 2015 of 8.0p per share was paid to shareholders on 28 November 2014. It is not anticipated that a final dividend will be required. Therefore, the total distribution in respect of the financial year to 31 March 2015 will amount to 16.0p per share, which compares with that of 16.0p per share paid last year.

As well as announcing the second interim dividend for the year ended 31 March 2015, the Company also announces, further to its dividend policy, the advance notification of the two interim dividends for its financial year ending 31 March 2016. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Company expects to pay two interim dividends of 8.0p each. The first interim dividend will be paid in November 2015 and the second will be paid in May 2016.

Dividend Policy

For the year ended 31 March 2015, and going forward, the Board's dividend policy is to pay two similar interim dividends each year. The Board will declare the rate of the two dividends, barring unforeseen circumstances, at the beginning of the financial year in question. The first interim dividend will then be paid in November during the financial year with the second being paid in the May following the end of the financial year. Again barring unforeseen circumstances, the Company expects the dividends to grow over time reflecting the longer--term returns of the portfolio. If circumstances are such that the level of cash income generated by the portfolio is insufficient to meet the dividend commitment, the shortfall may be made up from the Company's reserves. Under certain one--off circumstances an extra and final dividend may be proposed at the Company's Annual General Meeting.
