Board Changes


The Board of High-Point Rendel Group plc announces the resignations of Ian
Reeves and Pat Desmond as Non Executive Directors.  Their resignations are
effective immediately.


Ian founded the Group in 1970 and led the acquisition of Rendel Palmer & Tritton
in 1986.  He withdrew from day to day management of the business in 1991 but
agreed to return in 1997 as a Director and Chief Executive to lead the
restructuring.  He relinquished the position of Chief Executive to Kelvin
Hingley in 2000 and became Non Executive Deputy Chairman.  Ian is leaving the
Group to enable him to concentrate on pursuing his other business and charitable
interests.


Pat joined the Board in 1997 following the restructuring and served as Chairman
of the Audit Committee.


The Board would like to thank Ian and Pat for their substantial contributions
during their time with the Company and wish them every success in the future.
